About LATAM Airlines (LA) Reservation

Established in 1929 as LAN Airlines, LATAM has certainly come a long way in the span of 90 years. The airline is based out of Santiago de Chile and has its headquarters in Las Condes, Chile. Carry-on

The airline allows its passengers to bring one personal item and one bag with them in-cabin at no additional cost. The carry-on bag, although, must not weigh more than 17 lb in Economy travel whilst not exceed 35 lb in Premium travel. Also, the baggage must be within the dimensions of 21 in x 13 in x 9 in to be accepted in the cabin. Regarding the personal item, the dimensions must not exceed 18 x 14 x 8 inches.

Checked Baggage   

It is advisable to the passengers with LATAM bookings to be thoroughly acquainted with the checked baggage policy of the airline as it varies as per different flight destinations. Passengers flying between the United States of America and South America are permitted to check-in one piece of baggage in the hold with its weight not exceeding 51 pounds.
