LATAM Ecuador came into existence in the year 2002. It is one of the subsidiaries of LATAM Airlines Group and has its headquarters based out of Guayaquil in Ecuador. Courtesy of its fleet which contains 4 aircraft, the air carrier transports passengers to 11 destinations such as New York City, Limo, Quito, Cuenca and Santiago. Mariscal Sucre International Airport serves as the chief operating hub of the airline whilst José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport is its secondary hub.
BAGGAGE POLICY
Passengers traveling via LATAM Ecuador flights are allowed to bring one piece of carry-on in addition to a personal item in the cabin of the aircraft. However, they must fulfill the weight and size requirements. Passengers flying in Economy can bring the carry-on bag weighing at most 17 lbs whereas Premium Economy and Premium Business class can bring the bag with weight of up to 35 lbs. The maximum dimensions permitted for carry-on bag are 21 x 13 x 9 inches and 18 x 14 x 8 inches for the personal item.
When it comes to the checked baggage, the airline provides free baggage allowance to all passengers but it varies as per their flight fare, travel class, and origin and destination of the itinerary. Each piece, however, must have weight at most 50 lbs and linear dimensions less than 62 inches.
