Carry-ons
Passengers traveling with United Airlines are allowed one carry-on bag, and one personal item. The size of the carry-on bag cannot exceed 9 X 14 X 22 inches whereas the size of the personal item must not be more than 9 x 10 x 17 inches. In addition to the carryon bag and personal item, medical devices including breast pumps, assistive devices, mobility aids as well as a jacket, an umbrella, reading material can be brought onboard.
Checked Baggage
If you are flying United Economy class, the maximum weight for your checked bag can be up to 50 lbs. For flying other classes like United Business, United First, and United Polaris business class, you can take up bags weighing no more than 72 lbs. However, the dimensions of the bag, irrespective of the class, cannot be more than 62 inches.
